Return / Cancellation Policy

Healthy Back is committed to helping you feel better than ever before. Most Healthy Back purchases come with the reassurance of a 90 day money back comfort guarantee. For qualifying items you are not satisfied with, you may return the item within 90 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. The item must be returned in like new condition, with all paperwork, parts, and accessories to ensure full credit.

Items purchased online cannot be returned to our retail stores. All items purchased through Healthyback.com must be returned to Healthyback.com using the return instructions listed in this document.  Please call 1-888-4MY-BACK for a Return Authorization and shipping instructions.  Healthyback.com will not accept any return that is made without a return authorization number and processed through our return service.

Shipping Charges - Original outbound shipping, handling, delivery, and installation charges are non-refundable. All items requiring pickup will incur a return handling fee.

Subject to the terms of this policy, should your purchase not meet or exceed your expectations, please feel free to bring it back hassle-free.

Return policy exceptions:

Hygiene Items:

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following items: Pillows, Pillowcases, Overlays, Sheets, Mattress Pads, Shoe Insoles, Lumbar Belts, Face Masks, Lumbar Supports, Seat Wedges & all Bed Accessories, inflatable products or items that are used/worn against the skin.

Gift with Purchase(GWP) Items:

Items that are gifted at the time of purchase or (GWP) items will be charged at full retail prices should you return or cancel the corresponding purchase.

Adjustable Foundations:

Adjustable Foundations are sold on a final sale basis.  No exchanges or returns are permitted.

Mattresses/Flat Foundations

You may return your mattress/ flat foundation within 90 days of delivery for a full refund minus original and return shipping/handling charges.  Due to the unique performance characteristics of our mattresses, we require your commitment to keep and use your bed for 30 days before requesting a return or exchange. 

In cases of free outbound shipping, a full refund minus a modest return shipping fee will be credited to your account.  In cases of free shipping to Alaska/Hawaii, an additional return shipping fee may be assessed.  Return shipping rates start at $175.  Your Healthy Back Comfort Consultant will provide you with a return shipping quote at the time you place your return.  Your account will be credited after Healthy Back verifies that your mattress/flat foundation have been picked up.  Please allow up to 5 weeks for pickup from the date of your call.  Please note that flat foundations may not be returned without the corresponding mattress from the purchase.

For items that qualified for the Tempur-Pedic Free Return Shipping Promotion: Free return shipping is offered on queen, king and California king size mattresses delivered in the continental US only.  The OriginalBed, AdvantageBed, Classic Bed,  CloudBed and Tempur Pedic Ergo System are excluded from this offer.


Office Chairs:

All returns under our 90-day money back guarantee must be in new/original condition.  All items requiring pick up will be assessed a $69.99 return handling fee. Items must be unassembled and boxed as originally received. Assembled items will incur a $99.99 return handling fee.  Additional charges may apply should the items be returned in damaged condition.   Kneeling Chairs will carry a $12.95 restocking fee and a $12.95 return shipping fee.

Special Order Merchandise:

All products that are based on custom colors, cut sizes, assembly, or customer's own material (COM) are considered Special Orders. Cancellations or changes are permitted within the first 24 hours after ordering. Special orders may not be cancelled after 24 hours and are sold on a final sale basis.

As Is, Certified Value, Clearance, Reconditioned, & Other Markdown Items:

These items are sold on a final sale basis. No returns, no exchanges.

Damaged Merchandise:

Healthy Back reserves the right to deny the requests for refunds or exchanges in the event that any item is soiled, stained, damaged, broken or has otherwise been altered as a result of customer use.

Return shipping charges:

Original outbound shipping charges are not eligible for refund.  Return shipping charges for items other than mattresses/flat foundations/adjustable foundations are listed below.  These return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

Canceling an Order (for all items except mattresses/flat foundations, mattress overlays, adjustable bases):

Please call 1-888-469-2225 to cancel an order.   Please note that most orders ship within 1-2 business days. If your order has shipped or is in the process of being shipped, we will be unable to cancel your order. In those cases, please refer to our return policy.  A refused shipment may result in a 25% restocking fee deducted from your refund. 

Please note that when cancelling a mattress or mattress overlay order that you must call us within 2 business days from the date your order was placed.  If you do not call us within 2 business days of your order being placed, we will assess a $159 return fee to cancel your order.
