The chair is warranted from the date of purchase against failure due to material and workmanship as follows:
- Lifetime on component parts including pneumatic cylinder, control mechanism, base and casters.
- 3 years on upholstery fabric and foam against wear and deterioration.
- Leather is not warranted against routine scratching and scuffing, as leather is subject to minor blemishes in use.
All warranties are limited to the original purchaser for normal commercial usage defined as a standard forty hour work week by persons weighing 250 lbs. or less. The 7102, 7105 and 7200 are for persons weighing 350 lbs. or less. This warranty will not cover labor, freight or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, vandalism, rusting, acts of nature or any other event beyond the control of Office Star Products. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage that may result from normal use. Liability for incidental or consequential damages is excluded. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from use of this product. When usage is more than 40 hours per week, a five year warranty on all parts applies. Fabric is warranted for one year. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

So I wanted to spend up to $400 on a nice chair that looked durable. I had been to various competitors stores, mostly office supply stores and was not very pleased.
So I walked into a healthy back store - my first visit and sat on a few nice chairs, a steelcase leap, an aeron, various things here and there.
However what caught my eye was a sale that ends on the 30th of this month mind you, for this chair featured at $150. I would probably had paid $300 for it, but instead I bought two of these.
I like them for a number of features.
#1 good sturdy, strong back support
#2 feels like it will last.
#3 very adjustable, most features in this chair you can not find below the $500 price point by any name brand.
#4 It is heavy, yet somehow compact, I have 3 chairs in a relatively small area of my house, 14 by 14 area, and going from high back chairs to these did save me some space.
They are definately very comfortable. I have not used them for an extended period of time but have enjoyed them through a few 6 hour sits so far. I would say they get the job done well and my back thanks me for buying these.
I would recommend them and buy again. Only con i can think of is I weigh in at 275 pounds and wish I had a PINCH more cushion on my bottom. Oh well, my back is happier.
